I am currently an Electronic Design Engineer at Tesla Motors, Palo Alto. I obtained my M.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park, advised by Prof. Alireza Khaligh. I have been working on different projects at MPEL, including Bi-directional Onboard Charger for Electric Vehicle and the RTRU for next generation of the avionic system. Our Onboard Charger Project [project video] [final competition] just won the 3rd Prize in the Allegheny Region Cleantech University Prize (CUP) Collegiate Competition.
Previously, I was a Power Electronics Intern at Tesla Motors where I worked on the inverter project for industrial and residential energy storage systems.
Prior to UMD, I have 5 years of industrial experience in PMIC industry. I served as a Senior Application Engineer of Power Management IC at the RL-semiconductor and worked on power management systems at Sharp Electronics Research & Development(SERD).
My research interests include analysis and design of power management IC, power conversion system for aircraft, electric chargers for EV and PHEV, and wireless charging. Links to [Projects].
