Project: Power for LED TV
Design Specifications:
Input Voltage: 85Vac~265Vac, Single Phase
Power Level: Max up to 150Watts
Output: Multi-outputs (LED backlight, motherboard for TV system, standby channel)
Highlights: Low power assumption at standby mode (<300mWatts)
In this series of projects, we examined the performance of multi-output power supplies for LED backlight TVs. This series of projects are actually my first industry project. We spent lots of time to control the noise which is generated by the main transformer. We made great efforts to optimize the winding and the introduced different glue methods for the transformer. Products were released to the market after we optimized the power assumption at standby mode which meet the energy star requirement.
